Wisconsin Room Makeovers

Ryan’s Mickey Mouse Room
Special Spaces Milwaukee created a Mickey Mouse themed bedroom in November 2013 for Ryan, an adorable young boy who was born with Emanuel syndrome. Special thanks to our friends at Embassy Homes and Roman Electric.  View more pictures and learn more about Special Spaces Milwaukee on Facebook.

Christopher’s Sports Room
Special Spaces Wisconsin had the opportunity to help out our neighboring state of Iowa and create a special room for Christopher. He is a great little boy we met recently. To see more of Christopher’s great room makeover experience, visit us on Facebook.

Green Bay

Erin’s Pink & Purple “Sewing Studio” Room
Special Spaces-Green Bay created a bedroom of Erin’s dreams in January. Erin is a 12 year old girl who has Cystic Fibrosis. Her favorite colors are pink and purple. We provided her with a new trundle/day bed, a work space which included a brand new sewing machine, a newly organized closet and many fun accessories. Erin seemed to really love the new special space. Our volunteers are what made this happen—we thank them very much for their time and talents!

Ian’s “Star Wars” Room
A healing atmosphere created and built by the design team at Deep River. Moveable bamboo privacy screens divide the space into play and rest zones when needed. The magnetic wall provides a place for artful expression. Floor to ceiling cubbies add storage and display. The trundle bed opens for overnight visitors. The result is a dream room that supports this 9 year old through his recovery. To see more of Ian’s great room makeover experience, visit us on Facebook.

Tori’s Room
A custom painted wall mural of a tree with her name is the focal point of this bright dream bedroom for a small girl in Fredonia. The re-organized space is charmingly decorated, and now includes tons of storage. Designed by Haven Interiors, the room was built by a volunteer team from Northwestern Mutual who took part in a community service “work day” in observance of Martin Luther King Day. Rachel & Ryan’s Room[s]
Rachel and Ryan are siblings who were recently diagnosed with epilepsy. The Special Spaces team felt that these incredible siblings deserved room makeovers! To see more of Tori’s great room makeover experience, visit us on Facebook.
